Q: When I would log on to my personal web page before,
I would go straight there, now I have to log in each time,
what changed?
A: The cookie that contains your personal log in information
was deleted or you internet browser is not accepting cookies
at this time. Normally, the first time you log into your personal
web page, a cookie is placed in your computer that remembers
your email address and password, this way you don't have to
go through the log in screen each time. Some users have set
their browsers to refuse such cookies, when that happens,
the method for remembering your log in information has been
stopped.
How It Works
Q: How often is the web page information updated?
A: 4 times daily
Q: How is the forecast page generated? What is the
science behind it?
A: Your personal forecasts are generated by a powerful
weather computer that numerically calculates weather
forecast variables: temperature, winds, pressure, precipitation,
etc. Storm Alert is the backbone of your personal forecasting
service! Storm Alert generates weather forecast information
every half-hour in a dense grid that covers the local television
broadcast coverage area. Storm Alert's forecast output features
much greater resolution and forecast coverage than any other
weather forecast source available. Storm Alert forecasts are run four times
per day ensuring that your forecast is the best and most current.
